Leeds boss Rohan Smith was not getting carried after his team knocked off Hull FC, registering their third win from their past four matches.
The Rhinos were dominant in the wet in a 34-10 result.
Ash Handley scored twice as Leeds grabbed the win.
“It was a clumsy game really but we had enough patches where we showed enough flow with the ball,” Smith said.
“Overall our defence was very tough, apart from a couple of moments.
“We were a bit clumsy with the ball early. We’re still not great but we’ve got plenty in us.
“We’re probably a better defensive team than we are an attacking team at the moment.”
Aidan Sezer went off for a head test early in the first half and did not return.
Smith said Sezer actually passed his HIA but was kept from the field as a precaution.
“We did OK while he was off for the HIA,” he said.
“He passed his HIA so it was more of a choice, he had a bump there, not any concussion symptoms. He rolled his ankle there a bit.”
