Exclusive: Salford Red Devils have re-signed another of its players for next year.
Hooker Andy Ackers was off-contract at the end of 2022.
But rugbyleaguehub.com Long Reads understands the former Toronto forward will be staying with Salford for the 2023 campaign at least.
Ackers joined the Red Devils in 2020 from the Wolfpack.
The 28-year-old has made 27 appaerances for Salford, 11 of them this season.
Originally from Wigan, the hooker started his career at Swinton in 2014 before joining London in 2016.
He spent two seasons with the Broncos before signing for Toronto in 2018.
Already this week the Red Devils have announced the retention of centres Kallum Watkins and Deon Cross for next year.
