HE was best known as someone who could eat seven kebabs in a single sitting but Sam ‘Dogzilla’ Kasiano seems to be half the man he used to be.
Melbourne Storm have posted some photos of the 27-year-old veteran of 10 Tests for New Zealand and Samoa which will leave Canterbury fans scratching their heads.
Storm recruit Kasiano seems to have fallen asleep in a sauna – for six months!
Leeds Rhinos will be among the first teams to get a look at the new Kasiano when they take on the Storm for rugby league’s world title at AAMI Park on February 16.
The loss in weight should allow Kasiano to play more minutes for the Storm than he did at Canterbury, where 12 months ago he was in the ‘extras club’ for overweight players during the festive season.
Kasiano, who played for Samoa last year against England, has signed a three-year deal at AAMI Park.
