Ethan Havard and Morgan Smithies caught the eye in their England debuts against France, leading the way with 173 metres and 31 tackles each.
The Wigan pair posted big numbers in England’s huge 64-0 win on Saturday. In just 48 minutes prop Havard made 19 runs for 173 metres, the most of any forward, and completed 22 tackles.
In 61 minutes his Wigan teammate Smithies made a team-high 31 tackles and 98 metres. There were also strong combinations from hooker Danny Walker, who made 22 tackles and 124 metres in just 45 minutes before he was replaced by Jez Litten.
Bench props James Harrison and Tyler Dupree were impressive with each making 115 metres and 124 metres, respectively, in just 46 and 32-minute stints.
In a heavily beaten team France’s Mickael Goudemand made a staggering 50 tackles and 126 metres in his 80 minutes on the field.
In the women’s Test, also a 64-0 result to the hosts at Warrington, the best performers were English forwards Hollie-Mae Dodd and Shona Hoyle.
Back-rower Dodd made a team-high 194 metres and a team-high 20 tackles during the 80 minutes, and grabbed two tries.
Front-rower Hoyle ran for 183 metres from 18 runs, as well as scoring a try, in 72 minutes.
For the French the standout was second-rower Tallis Kuresa, who made a team-high 80 metres from a team-high 10 runs and 20 tackles.
