rugbyleaguehub.com can confirm it will be the exclusive broadcaster outside the UK of this Thursday’s Betfred Super League match from Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington between Hull KR and Leeds.
After last week’s successful streaming of the Wakefield-Huddersfield match – the only Super League game of the weekend – in Australia, South East Asia and parts of the Middle East, we will bring you another contest this week that is otherwise only available to season ticket holders of the two clubs involved.
Tony Smith’s Hull KR were eliminated by the Rhinos from the Challenge Cup last Friday and have a rare opportunity in rugby league or indeed any sport – to wreak revenge on the same opponents just six days later.
Our broadcast is available ONLY in Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
The program will start at 11.30pm Thursday Sydney time and can once more be accessed by signing up at this link http://eepurl.com/c091wb and awaiting further instructions later in the week. The platform to be used for the stream this week is still a matter of internal discussion.
rugbyleaguehub.com co-founder Steve Mascord said: “We were thrilled last week to be back on air after our exciting arrangement with Super League was interrupted by the Global Pandemic.
“We were very happy with the technical aspects of last week’s broadcast and very satisfied to have brought fans in our region a match they could not otherwise have watched. We look forward to seeing the reaction this week now we have a longer lead-in time .”
